#DVA365: Domestic Violence Awareness 365 Days a Year
Awareness. Prevention. Action. Every Day.
#DVA365 is the signature initiative of the Freedom Heart Foundation, created to ensure that domestic violence awareness does not begin and end during a single month. Domestic violence impacts individuals, families, workplaces, and communities every day of the year, and our response must be just as consistent.
Founded by domestic violence survivor and advocate Dr. Monique Dennis, #DVA365 was established to transform awareness into action through education, prevention, advocacy, and community engagement. The campaign empowers individuals, organizations, and communities to recognize the signs of abuse, support survivors, promote healthy relationships, and become part of the solution.
Why #DVA365? Too often, conversations about domestic violence occur only during October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month. While awareness is important, survivors need support, resources, and advocacy every day. #DVA365 was created to: Increase year-round domestic violence awareness. Promote prevention and healthy relationship education. Reduce stigma surrounding survivors. Strengthen community and workplace responses. Empower women, girls, and families through education and advocacy.
Inspire collective action to end domestic violence.
What We Do Through #DVA365, We provide: :Community awareness campaigns. Educational workshops and presentations. Healthy relationship education. Survivor empowerment initiatives. Youth leadership and prevention programs. Workplace domestic violence awareness training. Community forums and public conversations. Strategic partnerships and advocacy initiatives.
Our Impact: # DVA365 brings together survivors, advocates, businesses, community leaders, educators, and organizations around a shared vision: creating safer communities where everyone can live free from violence and fear. By keeping the conversation active 365 days a year, we are building a culture of awareness, accountability, prevention, and hope.
